Our clients were San Francisco transplants who wanted to bring their contemporary style to their new home in a much more rural setting. Our main objective was to design spaces that felt authentic to them without losing the natural characteristics of their new home and its surroundings. Their love of entertaining was at the forefront of our decision making as we reworked the kitchen to make it more hospitable. Throughout the home, we incorporated a soft, neutral palette and layered in a few unexpected elements like a striking concrete fireplace surround. The end result was a home that exudes their definition of country living.
